Located on over two hectares of peaceful land, our country houses are at the heart of the Costa Vicentina natural reserve, a stone's throw from the stunning beach of Arrifana and the wild beach of Canal, near the magical village of Aljezur.
Our holiday houses project was born from our desire to give our guests some rest from the hustle and bustle of the city, and to offer you a romantic getaway, an independant and personal experience, as well as memories of an unforgettable holiday.
The lodging is made of four cozy one-bedroom apartments facing South. In the morning, you will be able to hear the birds sing and the countryside noises in the privacy of your own terrace, while enjoying your breakfast and letting yourself be carried with the fresh breeze.
You will share the surroundings of the quiet locality of Picão with its local residents and only a few other guests, for a unique and authentic experience.
Dogs, cats, horses and chickens are some of the typical sounds of our surrounding nature.
The nearby forest of cork oaks and strawberry trees will give your vacation a fairytale touch.

Open-space living area with all amenities, kitchen and basics for daily comfort - Sofa, television, free WiFi, fridge, oven/microwave, cooking hobs, coffee machine, dishes & utensils.
1 bedroom with a king-size bed, or two double beds, and a sofa bed for an additional guest (children ages 12+). Linen and towels provided.
Big windows from the bedroom and livingroom open to the large private porch, where we have a protected built-in sofa, with views to the garden and natural park.

The Surroundings
Located 2km from Arrifana beach, Ao Sabor do Vento is a small hamlet surrounded by the natural park.
Enjoy walking around to rest on a hammock in the forest or enjoy the sunset, from the countryside to the sea.
Cross the stream and walk further into the forest to the small water reservoir, and continue your walk for a view of Canal beach.
Perfect for nature and surf lovers, to rest and reset.
Very diverse restaurants available in the area, both Portuguese and international cuisine, supermarket, and shops within 2km.

We are Sonia and Pedro, a French-Portuguese couple that loves to travel and to receive people. We used our experience and love for travelling in creating Ao Sabor do Vento to offer you the best memories of your holidays.
